Block-Out ™
Block-out graphics are embedded into the document or plastic card.
When copied or scanned the copy will appear strongly distorted or blank.
Pantograph Authentiguard 4000 ™
All Pantographs are not the same. RW Pierce Security Print Solutions offer clients the world’s most powerful patented pantograph technology.
Hidden words/images are embedded in original documents or plastic cards and revealed on copies.
The words/images are barely visible to the eyes but will appear strongly on copies.
Works on most black and white/colours printers.
UV Invisible Ink
Only visible through long wave ultraviolet light (465nm), it is invisible to the eyes and also virtually impossible to re-instate.
Intaglio Latent Image
An embedded printed image that is viewed by tilting the printed material.
Provides great customer interactivity and is also regarded as the best security printed technology and favoured by major Brand owners.
Microtext
Microtext can be print applied or holographic.
Hidden Text at approx. 0.3mm font size.
Nanotext
Seen with an electron beam scanning microscope.
Some of these features are forensic and can only be viewed with high magnification, they are at the Nano technology level and image sizes can range from 0.1mm down to 0.0025mm.
Prism
Hidden words/image revealed using the Authenticator lens.
The Authenticator lens is a small plastic card carved in such a way so as to reveal Prism printed graphics.
Covert Taggant
A printed feature that is verified using an electronic reading device.
Generally used on high value items.
The green dot on the padlock is not visible when the device is switched off.
