Variable Data Printing

RW Pierce has undertaken variable data printing (from digital data) since 1982.
Today, we use Xerox VI Freeflow to generate variable data printing (including transactional or multi-page personalised items) on our wide range of digital printing equipment. We undertake:

  • Mono Laserprinting – our Xerox Docuprint high volume production mono laser printers, are capable of printing 14,000 A4s per hour. These printers will print sheet sizes up to 356x432mm or SRA3, in weights up to 200gsm.
  • Inkjet Addressing – Astrojet and Rena inkjet printing equipment is capable of printing 30,000 items per hour. Normally printing black ink, we can offer inkjet printing in other colours.
  • Colour Laserprinting – We use this equipment exclusively for production of high security ID cards.
  • High Volume Digital Colour – our sister company Northside, operates 2 x HP Indigo digital presses. These can print black or colour personalisation on 460x320mm approved materials up to 350gsm. For postcards, the HP Indigo presses give higher quality print than inkjetting, at similar overall cost.
