Continuous Cheques

The Continuous Cheque is a special cheque printed with a business name, address and logo, designed to be infilled on an impact printer by 3rd party accounting software.

The Product:

This cheque is available in the following standard cheque sizes:

  • 4” deep x 9” wide, including sprocket holes
  • 12” deep x 9” wide, including sprocket holes (4” cheque with a 8” remittance advice)
  • Other custom sizes are available on request.

Background Panel Design and Colour:

Each cheque will be printed with the company details on one of the following security panels:

Alternatively, a security panel unique to the company can be developed at additional cost.

Logo:

This cheque allows for the inclusion of a company logo, printed in corporate colour(s). The logo can also be reproduced in one colour only if preferred.

Crossing:

It is a mandatory requirement to include a crossing on all cheques (reading “account payee only”).

Bank Approval Process:

In the case of a new cheque, it is a mandatory requirement for cheque orders to be verified and authorised by the account holders bank.

The Cheque Layout:

As new continuous cheques must be laid out in accordance with the format of the software, please supply a printout of the cheque on plain computer paper. This enables RW Pierce to design the print to match the computer printout. The software/cheque may need to be altered to meet the Banking Industry standards. Where possible, to assist in fraud prevention, the use of a series of boxes for completion in words of the ‘Amount in Words’ is to be discouraged. The preferred option is that the computer prints out the amount in words in one line, if possible, with no spacing between each word.
Please remove all forms of sprocket holes and perforations and separate all vouchers before paying a continuous cheque into a bank.
